This is a very hard decision as I have owned Solo for 4yrs and have done a lot with him, but sadly due to time commitments as having two jobs I have to put Solo up for sale.
Solo is 13yrs old, 16h.h. Registered Welsh Section D. Real name – Hello Carberry Caravaggio. Sire Llanarth Solo, he has very good breeding and would excel in the show ring. I only shown him once as it is not my thing but came 2nd out of a big class In hand.
Judges love his paces and get a lot of 8’s and... comments about his lovely natural rhythm. He has won Novice classes with 70%+ scores and qualifying for championships. He has done Elementary and scored 67.50% but lack of time I haven’t competed much lately with him.
I have done one day events and came 8th out of 40 horses at Gadbury. He loves cross country and will jump anything. Show jumping I have done 3ft courses, he can be spooky with poles and fillers but with a strong leg he will go round but will look at things so need to be confident. He is great to load and behaves very well at shows.
He is never strong always ride in a snaffle. Hacks out alone or in company. Solo is not a novice ride as needs a rider that is confident. He would suit a competition home.
He is not the best to be clipped but managed a bib clip with him this year without sedation. He is really improving and just needs patience and I think he would improve. Solo does have mild sweetitch but easily managed and people don’t even notice he has it as long as he is covered.
This is a really hard sale as I love this horse so please no time wasters and I am looking for the right home for him so I am in no.
